Microneedling

If you are looking to trade dull, uneven skin tone and texture for a plumped, glowing, and youthful complexion, microneedling could be an ideal treatment option for you. The treatment works with your body's natural response for healing to increase collagen production and get rid of fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars, hyperpigmentation, and stretch marks. Better yet, microneedling can be done on any area of the body that needs brightening.

Microneedling

What To Expect

How it works

Microneedling treatments use tiny needles to penetrate specific areas of the skin to create microscopic injuries. This stimulates the skin's natural ability to produce collagen and elastin and also creates channels for serums and solutions to penetrate more deeply, making the skin look and feel healthier.

How we do it

Dr. Day and her team will consult with each patient to customize their microneedling treatment with different serums tailored to meet specific skin concerns. These solutions will penetrate more deeply, giving them the potential to have extraordinary effects on your skin.

A patient can also opt to use their own platelet rich plasma prepared from a blood sample drawn at the office. Dr. Day and her expert team will draw a blood sample and then spin it in a centrifuge to isolate the plasma. The platelets in the solution contain powerful growth factors that trigger cell proliferation, thereby speeding healing and stimulating regeneration in the affected area.

Side effects

Microneedling is completely safe and requires little to no downtime. Patients may be red or slightly bruised for 5-7 days, but are free to cover up with makeup until their most beautiful skin is ready for its big reveal.

Time to full effect

Immediate improvement, progress within 7 weeks, final results at 6 months.
