Insurance and Superbills
A clear answer before you book.
Day Dermatology & Aesthetics is an out-of-network practice. After your visit, we are happy to provide a superbill you can submit to your insurance plan for possible reimbursement.
What out of network means here
We don't bill insurance plans directly, and we aren't part of any plan's network.
If an online directory lists insurance plans for my practice, please go by this page, or call the office at (212) 772-0740.
Your superbill
A superbill is an itemized statement of your visit, with the details insurance plans usually ask for, such as the date of service, the diagnosis and the services you received. We provide it after your visit. You submit it to your plan, and your plan decides what, if anything, it reimburses under your out-of-network benefits.
Before your visit, you can call the member number on your insurance card and ask how your plan handles out-of-network dermatology visits and superbills.
Cosmetic treatments
Insurance plans usually don't cover cosmetic treatments, such as Botox and other neuromodulators, fillers or laser treatments.
